Bluebells and Cigarettes

Tell me you love me as it rips me apart, let me believe you with all my broken heart and I want you against me because it keeps them away though your eyes sometimes slip somewhere so far away.

As I stand here in darkness I look to the sky just to feel something real that won’t end in goodbye. As the bluebells surround me a siren rings out and I feel all the danger inside all my doubts.

I love you too in my cigarette cloud as the siren once distant suddenly sounds so loud and now memory on memory are pulled through my head of all of the promises that they all once said.

So tell me you love me and I won’t fall apart and hold me tighter so I can’t feel my heart. I’ll tell you I love you as the sky falls away as we stand amongst bluebells in a cigarette haze.
